DURL Project – Dodder Valley Park Wetland Sod Turning Event

Intro

South Dublin County Council with the newly elected mayor, Cllr Emma Murphy, held their sod-turning event at Dodder Valley Park during the commencement of works on 2 Integrated Constructed Wetlands (ICW) For the treatment of storm water a and misconnections in the area.This project brings together the #DURL project and is part EU-funded. Along with the Mayor, the Director of Services for Water, Environment and Climate Change for South Dublin County Council, Teresa Walsh, the Chief Executive of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and An Cathaoirleach were in attendance for the event, along with local resident and action groups.
